Hi!

The name is Mutiara, but my friends and family call me Ira (pronounced "ear-uhh").

The name is of Indonesian origin, and yes, so am I! Apakabar 👋 !

I currently live and create in southwest Michigan.

I'm an ICU nurse by night, and an ear things creator when I'm not in scrubs.

Sparked by a random conversation with my husband, mixed with a need for a creative outlet, and a sprinkle of earring envy of my pierced eared comrades, came the journey of Goes By Ira. And yes, I solely wear clip on earrings due to the fact that I'm too scared to get my ears pierced at this point in my life. And I'm okay with that.

I'd like to create other handmade items in addition to these earrings, but for now, I hope to see you in a pair of Goes by Ira ear things soon.
